There are many views on what a an entrepreneur is and does. Some think this person is a risk taker and just starts businesses. Others think that anyone who solves problems is an entrepreneur.
Whatever your definition I definitely believe that the easiest way on how to become an entrepreneur is to be a problem solver. That is what entrepreneurs do on a daily basis… they help solve other peoples problems…
Entrepreneurs take the position that 1. They didn’t create a persons problem, so they don’t take personal ownership of it, 2. They didn’t make the decisions a person made that got them into the problem in the first place and finally 3. But they have the solutions to help fix it.
The reason I learned the skills to work from anywhere is to be able to spend more time watching my number one client… my daughter Jackie… she is the starting setter for her JV team and I’ve been able to spend time watching her grow up… from swimming lessons to dance class to Upward Volleyball and Basketball she has always been an over achiever…
I am putting this video out is so that I can live what I preach… I push her to try things she hasn’t done before… it was the same with learning to ride a bicycle and now its the same with learning how to drive a car… Whenever you feel funny about starting something new… remember when you were a kid and would try anything because you had no fear…
What does it take to work from home in Sugar Land? I first heard these words from motivational speaker Jim Rohn about 6 months ago but it was about 10 years ago that I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. There are different definitions of an entrepreneur but the one that I like the best is that entrepreneurs are problem solvers. Look around and it doesn’t matter if its the small family mexican restaurant around the corner or the monster known as Wal-Mart, businesses exist because the entrepreneurs who run them are solving peoples problems. From food for dinner to every imaginable item for your house or person, if you like solving problems and like profiting from solving those problems, then you are an ‘entrepreneur’…
And the more people you help or serve the more profit you will make as an entrepreneur… the examples I give my daughter is the small one unit store like the restaurant I mentioned earlier… it can only serve the people in a 3 mile radius or so… but you take a visionary like Sam Walton, yes you start out serving a small community, but with vision you can dream of putting your store in many cities, in many states to now many countries….
All these locations are serving the needs of the people and the more people you serve the more profits you will make. I am proud to be an entrepreneur and to be able to work with other entrepreneurs to reach our goals and help others solve problems.
