Hi, my name is Rick Gomez MBA and Internet Marketing Coach. The reason I started this site is to share my story and offer ideas and hope to the many people who are going through the same nonsense that I went through: being fed up with the corporate rat race and dead end jobs and searching for that next new idea that will liberate us from the traditional 9-5 work world!

Over the last thirty years, I have been on a personal development journey that has taken me from a small town in South Texas to London, Paris and other parts of the world.

My current project is to introduce small business owners, entrepreneurs, freelancers and others to the new world of internet marketing.

This site is based on my learning’s from Michael Gerber’s E-Myth for working ON my business and not IN my business (have you been there?) and Robert Kiyosaki’s book ‘Cash Flow Quadrant on creating income producing assets. This automated system allows you to work from anywhere.

I have studied business, education, personal improvement, leadership and entrepreneurship. I have worked and studied with major energy executives and top noted experts in the field of personal performance, motivational psychology, Business Leadership, and Personal Instruction, all of which are the basis for today’s successful speakers, trainers and coaches. I am a professional inspirational speaker, motivational and leadership coach.

I am in the process of authoring the “PUNCH Your Ticket to Success” e-book and creating and producing its companion product the “PUNCH Your Ticket to Success” video and audio series. This e-book will represent everything I have learned about personal development over the past thirty years… essentially it is my lessons learned that I want to leave my daughter, family and friends… the core of the e-book is that you can create the life you want by:

MY STORY
I’m originally from South Texas, and now live in the Houston area. I am a divorced father with one child. I have an entrepreneur’s spirit. I’m a graduate of the school of REAL LIFE and I’m an alumnus of a private university in Texas and have an MBA. I’m young at heart: I like early morning walks, blue water beaches, the wind, and being outdoors. I enjoy discovering and creating new thoughts and ideas. I enjoy helping people get out of their own way so they can see there are two sides to every story and most of the time we are standing in front of our own successes.

THE TRADITIONAL PATH- Leads Nowhere Fast!!
I didn’t enjoy working the 9 to 5 job, sitting in traffic 1 to 1 1/2 hours one way, never making enough to cover the bills, working for companies who wanted all my time and energy! Having someone else tell me what I was worth each year and knowing that I had much more value to give to others.

I had worked in corporate America for 27 years and I’ve owned and operated businesses ranging from real estate agent to an oilfield services company. I’ve tried everything to be successful only to meet with nominal success. I worked and earned my degrees while working full-time through college and grad school with the understanding that I would increase my earning potential beyond those that did not have a college education–NOT SO!!! There are many non-degreed individuals who make a lot of money doing what they love.

THE GRIND – It Wears You Down!
As I continued on the traditional path, I wondered why I and many others worked other jobs/businesses and weekends for wages and salaries that were gone before I got paid, with mounting debt from: mortgages, living expenses, loans and credit card debt. And I never seemed to be able to pay it off. Of course I met with some success along the way, but it was only temporary until the next bunch of monthly bills came due.

..STRESSED OUT-need to stop
The stress of driving into the city became more than I wanted to contend with: commuting in traffic 1 to 1 1/2 hours one way on the congested streets and freeways; If you’ve ever been in Houston, you also know that there is always some type of construction going on to add to the daily commuting problems… It was just getting out of hand and out of control. I was becoming a slave to work. I was never home, except to sleep and change!..

STOP THE TRAIN- I Want To Get Off!!
Along the way I was gifted with a beautiful daughter who I am head over heels about, but she was having to go through alot of change…from mom’s house to dad’s house…pretty stressful stuff for a child…I knew that I didn’t want to raise my daughter this way and I knew I needed to change the course I was on and get off this vicious cycle of debt, work and bills. I decided I wanted more from life–more personal free time, more financial gain, better personal health and more time for travel, so I set a new course of **ACTION!**

I TRIED EVERYTHING- Searching For A Better Way!
I started purchasing books, real estate courses, buying-selling-stock trading systems, mail-order businesses, investment courses, motivation programs, cash flow systems-EVERYTHING-ANYTHING-SOMETHING!!

And in my search, I discovered something! I discovered it! I GOT IT! I discovered the “how to” information industry. It’s a billion dollar industry. People are always looking for information on “how to” improve, increase their skills, heighten personal pleasure, build things, you name it and people want to learn how to do it, or want to get it. I discovered how to make money from anywhere with my hobbie: with personal improvement information. I discovered principles of success, leadership, relaxation and happiness!!

NEW COURSE OF ACTION-Take Control

I took personal control of my new path. I stopped and got out of the “rat race”. I resigned my position and started various enterprises that met with more success than I had expected. I was excited, happy and alive again! I suddenly have more time, more money, better health and more time than ever for repose. I feel great doing what I want: taking my daughter to school and the park, living where I want, taking vacations to Europe, Mexico and Hawaii. I’m living and I’m free! I have made a conscious decision to continue on this successful path and continue to study and examine principles of success, habits of successful people and attitudes of great successful leaders.

In my study of successful people, I found a common characteristic, a golden thread that ran through the arenas of business, education, finance, medicine, politics and parenting. The recurring theme throughout was basic and reproducible– *** Three fundamental maxims ***–a clear, positive thought process, a form of self-rehearsal and applying the laws of attraction–the phenomenal principles of The SECRET!
